Bec Stawell Wilson is an independent Australian graphic designer and art director living and working between Perth and Byron Bay.
Working primarily with artists, architects, cultural organisations and independent businesses, she creates books, printed matter, visual identities, digital platforms and spatial experiences shaped by deep research, collaboration and careful refinement of typography, image, material and system.
Informed by an enduring interest in publishing, architecture, landscape and material culture, her work favours restraint over novelty, with an emphasis on craft, tactility and lasting forms of visual communication.
Bec is co-founder and art director of Mess Books, an independent Australian publishing studio dedicated to contemporary art, photography, architecture and design.
